cancellation policy

We are committed to providing consistent services to help your child reach their goals. Our cancellation policy aims to minimise the cancellation of scheduled services and provide you with information on what to do if you need to cancel an appointment.

  • If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee will be charged.

  • Failure to attend (no-show) or appointments cancelled on the day will be charged at 100% of the total session fee, including travel costs if applicable.

This policy includes online sessions (telehealth). Outstanding fees need to be paid prior to further services being provided.

Please cancel your appointments mindfully. Repeated cancellation of services may result in loss of your regular session time or termination of services.

For NDIS clients, the cancellation fee can be claimed against your child’s NDIS plan. There is no limit on the number of short notice cancellations that can be claimed.

We understand that sometimes things happen, such as medical emergencies, and it is not possible to give adequate notice. We may waive the cancellation fee in exceptional circumstances at our discretion, taking into consideration the nature and number of cancelled appointments.

If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please contact us or leave a message via phone, email, or text message as soon as you can.

Ramsey Speech Pathology strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Ramsey Speech Pathology has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that website accessibility efforts assist all users and that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

Accessibility

We make UserWay's free Web Accessibility widget available, which is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows us to improve our site’s compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Enabling the Accessibility Menu

The website accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the right corner of the page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety. The menu is available on both desktop and mobile versions of our site.

Disclaimer

Ramsey Speech Pathology continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities.

In an ongoing effort to continually improve and remediate accessibility issues, we also regularly scan our site with UserWay's Accessibility Scanner to identify and fix every possible accessibility barrier on our site. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content on our site fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
